SER-207 is in advanced stages of research as a follow-on compound to SER-203 - it is a folate-targeted POZ conjugate that has a different potent anti-cancer chemotherapeutic attached to it (not irinotecan). Serina has found we can link many known and very potent small molecule anti-cancer drugs to the polymer backbone of POZ and generate novel anti-cancer compounds. Optimization work continues and pre-clinical testing in mouse xenograft models is scheduled to begin in Q1-2011 on this conjugate.
